REQUIREMENTS
The following represent the minimum requirements for installation of DeCIM:
• Windows Server 2003 SP2 (or better) or Windows Server 2008
• Active Directory
• ACPI compliant P3 HT with 512 Mb RAM or better (reference builds only)
• 512 Mb RAM for PC builds (recommended) – minimum 384 Mb
• A volume licence for the Windows version to be installed
• Sufficient disk storage space for the images and source files
• Non standard network drivers for WinPE (where required)

Technical Framework
Using the current development tools that ensure quality of code and inte-roperation, DeCIM offers a solution that:
• Allows for rapid creation of a reference operating system build
• Enables changes to hardware components to be updated without impacting the remainder of the reference
build by the management of drivers
• Allows multiple SOE images to be created from the one source to suit different platforms
• Utilises Sysprep and WinPE to ensure that AD machine GUID’s are unique
